How to edit podcast?

Hi everyone! So, last week I already rant to you about what podcast is and also I reviewed a podcast about “Will eating dates helps your labor?”. Do you listen to the podcast? I hope you do because it is very interesting and there’s also lots of other topics that Vanessa Marten talks about

For this week, madam taught us on how to edit the audio for podcast. She also asked me to create a podcast with my pretty partner, Izzatie. Our podcast entitled, “Dangers of using counterfeit cosmetics”. I can’t wait to finish recording it and if Ψ§Ω„Ω„Ω‡ wills, I’ll share it here okay? Okay so madam told us that there are few software and applications that can be used to edit your audio for podcast. Some of the softwares that can be used are Audacity, Wavepad and many more. But the most suggested by my madam is, Audacity. Eventhough, it is quite complicated to use it but the outcomes is the bomb! I am familiar with this Audacity software since I once used it before so it is not really complicated for me to do the editing. But practice makes perfect guys! Get used to it and you’ll be good.

Nothing much happen this week, just madam asked me to find information about my podcast topic which is the counterfeit cosmetics. So, during the class Izzatie and I browsed throughout the Youtube to find videos that related to our topics. We need to make our podcast interesting and not bored for people to listen to it. Tips? Insert some humor πŸ—£ (lol I am not funny) But yeah, let’s try! πŸ€œπŸΌπŸ€›πŸΌ

In the podcast, the information, we have to search based on facts that were stated by those who are experienced. We also have to present the voice clearly and precisely without noise that may distract people from hearing it. Another tips? Record your voice with high quality earphone and record it  underneath your blanket! (yes, blanket). Why? Because you don’t want, when you are recordingg, there’s vehicles sounds suddeny in your audio or maybe the sound of the fans. So yeah, record it underneath your blanket! The most easiest way.

I think thats all for now. Try out all those tips when you want to recording your podcast. Goodluck! Stay tuned for my next post ✨

#PodcastReview

Hello everyone welcome back! Time to learn about new thing today. I think this post will be benefits to those people that loves to read but doesn’t want to read (what?) lol it’s kind of people that want to know or learn new thing but, they don’t want to glue up their eyes on books or maganizes. So, hows that? Besides, they just have to listen while doing anything you want, and BOOM you got new knowledge. Amazing right? Okay so now I’m going to introduce you to Podcast! So, what is it?

Podcasts- a free service that allows Internet users to pull audio files (MP3) from a podcasting Web site to listen to on their computers or personal digital audio players. The term comes from a combination of the words iPod (a personal digital audio player made by Apple) and broadcasting.

If you are ever dreamed of having your own radio show, you can start podcasting and share what you’ve got with other people πŸ˜‰ Basically, this week Madam Azida asked me to listen to a podcast and review it. How’s the quality, the information, and more. She asked me to visit Podbay and choose topics that interesting. You may go to this website and browse the topics that you want to hear or gain and gain new knowledge. There are many many many interesting topics to browse on.

Basically, topic that captured my eyes is about pregnancy and about motherhood (seriously Aifaa?) I don’t know. It is kinda weird but I love to search about baby kicking, pregnancy mom’s diet πŸ˜‚ no I’m not married yet, it just like early preparation (I guess? lol) So I picked “Will Eating Dates Helps Your Labour?” by Vanessa Marten. This podcast is 14 minutes long. She is basically talks about kids and family in her podcast.  Basically everyone knows that, eating Dates is good for your body. Prophet Muhammad saw also said that dates are good for your health, in fact he’s also eat dates for sahoor during Ramadhan and it’s a sunnah for us muslims.

If you want to listen to the podcast, check out this link. This will be benefited your all of us actually regardless you are boy or girl. If you are a boy, then you can tell this to your wife.

Dates are safe and beneficial to the mother and baby. The fructose sugars in dates break down quickly offering energy without altering blood sugar levels in the body. They also have laxative properties, which stimulate contractions in the uterus and shorten labor. Vanessa shared that eating 6 dates per day for 4 weeks leading to due date is good for labor! If you have diabetes you may want to consult with doctor and your midwife before eating amounts of dates. There are basically many type of dates which are Khadrawi, Dayri, Amber and many more. Different types of dates, have different taste. Some are less sweet for those who loves less sweet like me. She also said that during pregnancy, you need more energy than usual. Consuming a handful of dates every day will supply the required sugars without adding extra calories.

Other than that, Vanessa also said that babies are born with low Vitamin K. If the mother consumes dates, they meet the requirement of the vitamin when the baby breastfeeds. Vitamin K aids in clotting and bone development. Dates boost the oxytocin effect (contraction of the womb), which increases the sensitivity of the uterus. The saturated and unsaturated fatty acids in the fruit supply energy and produce prostaglandins required for labor. Also, the serotonin, calcium, and tannin present in dates help in the contraction of uterine muscles.

Vanessa gives ways of eating dates other than just only eat the date itself:

  • Smoothie: Dates with yogurt can a great smoothie combo.
  • Dessert: Add dates to couscous (steamed balls of semolina) along with sesame and pure honey.
  • Syrup: Mix dates and some milk in a blender, and drizzle it over ice cream, wheat waffles, toast, or oatmeal.
  • Sweetener: It can be a great replacement for sugar in milk or juices.
So, remember to consume at least 2-3 dates per day when you are pregnant as it will beneficial for your baby and also for yours. That is all of my feedback about Vanessa Marten's podcast. Overall, the way she delivered the message is understandable, her words are clear and precise and in fact, her intonation is good and there is no distracting noise that can distract through out the listening process. Stay tuned, for the next post!
